There are plenty of people who still see the ’90s and early 2000s as the best era for hip-hop and fashion. Jordan Brand appears to be tapping into that nostalgia with the upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Musik”, currently expected to release in January 2027.
The pair takes inspiration from that period with a bolder, fashion-driven look on Michael Jordan’s fourth signature shoe. It leans into the late-’90s and early-2000s aesthetic shaped by oversized fits, diamond grills, and heavy gold chains, all without moving too far from the Air Jordan 4s original shape.
Mock-ups from Sneaker Files and @zsneakerheadz show the shoe with a Khaki upper, serrated edges, Black suede on the panels, and Gold accents on the Jumpman tongue branding, wing eyelets and heel studs. Other details includes roman numerals “II” and “III” as a nod to 23 on the back tabs. Finishing off the design, the shoe comes with a silver hangtag covered in diamonds add to the throwback fashion influence.
