The Air Jordan 7 “Tennis Day” pulls one of Nike’s loudest tennis eras into Michael Jordan’s signature line. Inspired by Andre Agassi’s Air Tech Challenge series, the upcoming colorway pairs a soft Phantom base with sharp hits of Lemon Twist, Pink Blast, and Anthracite.

Jordan Brand built the release around the US Open, giving the theme a natural link to both basketball and tennis. The connection goes deeper than the colors, too. Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan 7 and several of Agassi’s best-known Nike models, making this crossover feel more intentional than a standard seasonal palette.

Phantom leather forms much of the upper, joined by open mesh panels along the sides and forefoot. Shaggy suede around the ankle brings in a rougher texture, while translucent cutout sections add another layer to the familiar Jordan 7 shape. Similar window-style details have appeared on past releases such as the “Sapphire” and Paris Saint-Germain editions.

The brighter accents carry most of the tennis influence. Lemon Twist outlines sections of the midsole, collar, tongue, and lining, while Pink Blast lands on the heel tabs and outsole. Black laces, tongues, and Jumpman logos keep the neon shades from taking over the entire shoe. Speckled detailing across the green midsole sections adds another small nod to the colorful performance footwear associated with Agassi’s early Nike years.

Internally referred to as “Tennis Day Colors,” the pair also arrives during a renewed push for the Air Jordan 7. The model has spent much of the past few years outside Jordan Brand’s regular retro rotation, with fewer releases than staples such as the Jordan 4, Jordan 5, and Jordan 11. Following the return of the Olympic-themed “Miro,” this marks the first new adult Air Jordan 7 colorway since early 2023.
