Michael Jordan’s favorite Air Jordan silhouette, the Air Jordan 1, has seen several popular makeovers of the years, including both the “Black Toe” and “SBB” releases.

Overshadowed by other original colorways like “Bred”, “Chicago” and “Royal”, the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” is no less important when it comes to history of the legendary shoe. Michael Jordan wore the shoe during his rookie season that came dressed in a similar color blocking to the “Chicago” colorway, but takes away some of the Red from the upper in favor of Black on the eyestay and toe panels.

Originally debuted in 2015, the “SBB” aka “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1 was inspired by an exhibition game Michael participated in back in 1985 in Trieste, Italy where he broke the glass backboard after a dunk.
