In February of 1989, the Air Jordan 4 released for only $110 USD. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the model has become a staple in everyone’s sneaker collection.

While many of the OG colorways are considered the models best releases, one pair that’s often overlooked due to the shoe only being released once is the Air Jordan 4 “Lightning” iteration. This pair originally made its debut in 2006, and will be returning in 2021.

The other is the Air Jordan 4 “Doernbecher” designed by patient Isaiah Scott from the 2011 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. This release was highlighted with Superman logos on each tongue. Both releases benefited the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
