The Air Jordan 5 made its debut back in 1990, while debuting reflective tongues and a translucent sole on a Jordan signature shoe.

The Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” served as Michael Jordan’s home and away shoe for the first few months of his 1990-91 championship season. It features a White leather base with Fire Red and Black accents detailed with “23” stitching. They have retroed in 2006 and 2013, and it’s only a matter of time before they return once again.

A retro classic, the Air Jordan 5 “Laney” originally released in 2000 as a tribute to Emsley A. Laney High School in Wilmington, North Carolina. Michael Jordan attended the school from 1977 to 1981 before his three-year stint at UNC. The shoe features a White leather upper highlighted with the school’s Blue and Yellow accents along with “23” stitching. After a strong demand, the colorway returned in late 2013.
