The last time Jordan Brand brought back the Air Jordan 6 “White Infrared” was in 2014. Twelve years later, it’s finally on the calendar again for November 2026, and this release is expected to get much closer to the 1991 pair than the two retros before it.

One of the biggest changes is the return of Nike Air branding on the heel, which has not appeared on a “White Infrared” release since the 1991 pair. The 2010 version from the Infrared Pack and the 2014 retro both used Jumpman branding instead, so that detail alone should stand out to longtime collectors.

The 2026 release is also expected to bring back a shape closer to the original Jordan 6 mold. That has been a common point of discussion with older retros, since the profile and proportions have shifted over the years. The familiar white upper returns with black detailing and Infrared accents across the midsole and other small areas of the shoe.

Infrared has also looked slightly different from one retro to the next, but the shade used on this pair appears to stay fairly close to what people associate with the original colorway.

Originally released in 1991, the “White Infrared” is one of the key Air Jordan 6 colorways from Michael Jordan’s first championship season. The 2026 release also arrives during the model’s 35th anniversary year, alongside several other Jordan 6 projects already on the calendar.

The Air Jordan 6 OG “White Infrared” will release November 7, 2026 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. The retail price is set at $215. Grab a better look at the upcoming retro below.
