Designed by Peter Moore, both the “Bred” and “Royal” colorways of the Air Jordan 1 are arguably two of the most notable OG releases from 1985-present.

The Air Jordan 1 “Bred” was released in April 1985 during Michael Jordan’s rookie season with the Chicago Bulls. The shoe become famous from Nike’s iconic “Banned” campaign, making the Black and Red colorway iconic.

The Air Jordan 1 “Royal” was also an original release from 1985 ditching the popular Black and Red for Black and Blue. For 2023, the shoe will be returning in a “Royal Suede” makeup as part of the brand’s “Reimagined” series.
