Nike will celebrate their 10-year partnership with Doernbecher by releasing the Doernbecher Freestyle X Collection on September 28 at the Portland Art Museum in cooperation with the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Throughout their 10-year partnership, Nike raised more than $5 million from shoes designed by patients.
Before that celebration, Nike will re-release five classic Doernbecher shoes weeks before the big event in Portland. Nike has yet to announce the lineup, but one of those shoes will likely be the Air Jordan 3 Retro DB. All proceeds will once again be donated to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
Are you excited with this event and the DB shoes that are set to return to the sneaker market?
